SOL Magazine Issue # 7 Spring 2010.By Yuri and IrinaSpring came as the natural way of things, and it is time for the next chapter of our Living Diary. Significant and exciting events related to the Ringing Cedars movement practically swept us off our feet, so that we have found ourselves deeply and directly involved in them, which was absolutely unexpected. It all began when we started to help international visitors arrange for participation in the Ringing Cedars Festival on March, 27th, 2010. We expected for several persons to come from the USA and Europe, such as Steve Easterly (àêà Radomir, the artist who produced the new music CD "Revived") and the publisher Ingerlil Teute from Denmark. I was busy with multiple arrangements and in ongoing contact with the organizers of the Festival and the chairman of the Anastasia Foundation Maya Ladilova. As the entire Festival had been planned to take place on a single - long - day, the idea occurred to organize a trip to a Kin’s village and short journey to the dolmens of the Geledzhik region and Shetinin's school for our SOL readers who had undertaken such a long trip to visit Russia. This also demanded my full attention and so I was indeed quite occupied by all these challenges. To complete these organizational activities, I travelled to Moscow two weeks prior to the Festival. Unexpectedly, an email arrived from Maya Ladilova regarding an upcoming Press-conference with Vladimir Nikolaevich Megre in the ITAR-TASS office on March, 22nd, with an invitation to participate on behalf of our SOL Magazine. I certainly agreed with pleasure and on the appointed day, here I was walking over the historical center of Moscow in search of the location, with great excitement in my heart, and quite naturally so, considering that I had never participated in such high-level activities before. Here, at the press conference, my first personal meeting with Vladimir Nikolaevich took place. He is a very sociable and down to earth individual, and at the same time he is very inspiring, radiating an internal power and confidence. And moreover, he is indeed a true entrepreneur, namely an entrepreneur with pure spiritual intentions. The press conference was made possible in part because of the support of the informational/analytical publication “Sovetnik Presidenta” (Advisor to the President) which is circulated in the President’s Administration of the Russian Federation, the governmental body of the Russian Federation, the State Duma and the Council of the Federation, as well as federal districts, among heads of local administrations and legislative bodies of areas, regions and cities of Russia, in the ministries and departments, etc. (Ed.: Leaving Yuri's breathless sentence intact grammatically expresses best what an incredible opportunity this was for the Ringing Cedars movement). There were at least fifteen representatives of various leading mass media publications/outlets, including the ITAR-TASS agency, "Noviye Izvestia", “Independent Newspaper”, “Moscow Life” and the radio station “Voice of Russia”. Tatyana Chertoritskaja, the chairman of the all-Russian women’s organization “Women’s Congress” was also present and asking questions. The sensation of joy, light and the significance of the event stayed with me throughout the meeting.
March 27th approached. The day before, by communal effort, we created the stand/display for our Kin’s village. We arrived at the venue later than planned, but as it turned out, we were not the only ones compromised by Moscow traffic judging by the long line of eager souls at the entrance. We entered through the Mass Media entrance, brought in our display, and started to mount it with Victor, after which I went downstairs to the round table discussion regarding the Law of Kin’s domains. I listened and expressed my view of things. Returning to our stand, I saw my family, Irina and Arina, already busy talking with fellow participants and actively distributing the informational leaflets about our Kin’s village.
Various types of entertainment, concerts and presentations were taking place, one after the other. We listened to V.N. Megre's speech and presentation of his new book “Anasta” and then he left for a meeting with international partners and publishers. Our editor Regina and I took part in this meeting as representatives of Space of Love Magazine. Because VNM wanted to spend time in private conversation as several issues needed to be discussed, we remained with him for most of the afternoon, using moments in between his engagements to continue our conversation. It was amazing to be part of his intense schedule on that day and see him function flawlessly and without a moment of losing his patience and gracious availability to thousands of people standing in line for an author's signature while he was also thoughtfully connecting with other delegations. During our conversation, Vladimir Nikolaevich expanded on his plans to republish the entire book series, with updates, changes and additions, planning to add information that was not included in the earlier editions and we discussed available options. To streamline all the publications and translations available in so many different languages and facilitate making them more available to people, Polina Megre, VNM's daughter, has been taking over this newly created publishing venture. Vladimir is confident that many unnecessarily cumbersome (and even counter-productive) issues with such a large, international network of publishing activities, can be eliminated by streamlining these ventures. In an extended conversation with Polina, we realized how very thoroughly she had been preparing herself for this important position.
The Festival has left unforgettable, exciting impressions. In general, it brought together more than 3500 people who arrived from all parts of Russia, the Ukraine, Belorussia, former republics of the Soviet Union and some foreign countries. There were more than eighty stands/displays representing developing Kin’s villages. The importance of this event can hardly be overestimated. Feelings of joy, elation, solidarity and communication with like-minded people, sensations of a giant fiesta, along with the realization of the utter significance and solemnity of the event created the overarching spirit of this amazing experience. When you know that there are friends around everywhere, together with whom all things are possible, when you already see real, embodied results, real dreams materialized, the feelings of a wonderful pride and a soft warmth spreads up in your chest from the thought of your involvement in all this. This magnificent Festival was probably the greatest event in the history of the “Ringing Cedars” movement and such festivals are now planned to be held annually. In accordance with our commitment to be closer to our Kin’s domain and to actively participate in all affairs of our Kin’s village Ljuboistok, two days after the Festival I moved to Smolensk town where I had rented a flat beforehand. The night before, Irina and I took time to consider and decide upon a very important question, namely what we are going to do in Smolensk, what kind of business we should start as entrepreneurs with spiritual intentions. Together, as always, we came up with a wonderful idea - to organize, for the territory of the Smolensk region, a regional Foundation, with the working name “Deti Svaroga” (Children of Svarog*). The Foundation's focus are the children of the town and region of Smolensk, many of whom are now "running on their own", with a standard set of entertainments, such as: cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, sex and computer games. The main purpose of the Foundation is to create an alternative to this standard list of detrimental experiences, offering many different opportunities and pastimes for children of varying ages by creating groups, circles, clubs and organizations promoting creative, physical and intellectual development and eventually promoting the co-creation of a new vision for conscious living. Children are the future of all nations, and there is nothing more significant than a deep concern for a positive education and developmental environment for children. We feel certain that this undertaking will be supported by all well-meaning parents, and also by the business community and administration of the Smolensk region.
So, onward, before the face of the whole Universe and before our Kin from the depth of our hearts we declare and speak out loud our intentions in the following Declaration. The Declaration of Our Kin's Domain.We, Yuri Smirnov and Irina Koudryavtseva, citizens of the Russian Federation, independently became aware of a vision and philosophy for a new way of life, represented in symbolic form in the series of books known as «Ringing Cedars of Russia». The vision of the co-creation of a Kin’s domain has brought us together as a family and has inspired us to the following actions. Along with a group of like-minded people we purchased 46 hectares of abandoned land 45 kilometers from the next city, with the purpose of establishing upon them a more wholesome way of life for our families, for our descendants and for the sacred memory of our ancestors. Upon these common lands, we have chosen a plot of land for ourselves no less than one hectare in size - our Kin’s domain. On the chosen plot we are co-creating a living space - a Living Home for our family and for all our Kin, a connection which we are going to revive upon this land so as to develop our space further for centuries. Being the founders of the Kin’s domain, we will there bring together and unite our Kin. We will establish new, harmonious loving relations with our Living Home and with everything that is a part of it (the soil, plants, animals, birds etc.). Everything we establish today in our Kin’s domain is also intended for the permanent, healthy, secure, self-sufficient and happy life for all present and subsequent generations of our Kin who wish to live here. In the process of the co-creation of our living space we combine principles of permaculture, an ecological approach to the environment, as well as reasonable and careful use of modern knowledge and technologies. We understand that mainstream television broadcasts, certain internet activities, omnipresent commercial conditioning and unwholesome youth subcultures pull many of our children into the illusory and unconscious world of chaotic sex, computer games, alcohol and drugs. We cannot see any perspective or future for ourselves and our children in modern urban civilization, much of which thoughtlessly destroys Nature and wildlife for the sake of momentary benefit, nor in the conditions of a mass culture that seems eager to transform living beings into soulless robots. To redeem our true natures, and for the sake of our children and our Kin we wish to return to simple and natural values such as fresh air, pure water, healthy natural food, with living wildlife around us, loving and trusting family and community relationships, and with confidence in the future. We consider it incomprehensible that tens of millions of hectares of our nation's land lay fallow, while we import 60 % of our foodstuffs from overseas, and this food is often genetically modified and/or contains pesticides, products we consider extremely harmful to living beings and especially our children. We believe that this travesty undermines not only the food safety for our nation, but will also destroy the very people living on such degenerating territories - and ultimately their nations. We believe it to be counterproductive to accuse the government or anyone else of certain mistakes. Mistakes have been made by our entire society, and not only in our own country. As a result, communities of many nations are at the threshold of social chaos. Under these circumstances, we consider it an urgent call for everyone to think about what exactly they can do to effect positive life changes in the very immediate future, rather than waiting for others to make these changes for them. Therefore we now take full responsibility for our own lives, and by our actions we begin to return to close-knit family traditions and to true family values. We revive the concept of Kin and of the living power of successive generational connection. These are relationships based on love and mutually helpful and supportive activities. We thereby also reduce negative influences upon the natural environment and create favorable conditions for a full-fledged, natural development of our children. We wish to restore our lost culture which can embrace all aspects of a human/cosmic being and his/her society. We are committed to return to ourselves and our children the joy of true creation and co-creation. We believe that many families, consciously establishing their life in their Kin’s domains at the outskirts of large and small cities, are capable of fully supplying urban populations with organic food products, and to improve the ecological situations in those regions. The living products grown in Kin’s domains have a quality which is incomparable to all other manufactured foodstuffs delivered to supermarkets. We are firmly convinced that this essentially new but easy to grasp vision for a conscious lifestyle of families and conscious relationship with Nature and the earth is capable of preventing ecological disaster and to transform our entire planet into a "blossoming garden". These ideas are further described in a series of books called «Ringing Cedars of Russia». Their basic concepts have inspired us into the actions set forth above. As practice has shown already, not because of financial injections, but due to the application of this inspiring and worthwhile idea in different regions of Russia, Ukraine and Belorussia, tens of thousands of families are already building their Kin’s domains in which children are born and brought up in a more perfect ecological environment. Millions of families are going to follow as soon as a more favorable legislative base exists. As far as we know, because of the translation of the series of books into more than 20 languages of the world, the idea of the creation of Kin’s domains now inspires hundreds and thousands of families in numerous other countries as well, including the USA, Canada, Australia and Germany. We gladly and completely support the initiatives of our government and the President of the Russian Federation in creating favorable conditions for low-rise housing and also for initiatives to transfer agricultural lands for low-rise construction purposes with allocation of a certain plot of land to each family. We believe that the area of these plots should be no less than one hectare because it is impossible to create a complete and totally balanced self-restoring ecosystem on a smaller sized plot and sustain an average family from its proceeds. We respectfully submit to the government and to the President of the Russian Federation the request to increase their support toward this goal and to swiftly pass the appropriate legislation supporting Kin’s domains. We also appeal to the President and Congress of the United States, to the United Nations and all heads of the countries interested in the true well-being of their people, with a call to accept the idea of the creation of Kin’s domains as the most effective and immediate measure to avoid global economic disaster and prevent an approaching ecological catastrophe. This would include a refusal to stand by silently as a global food crisis develops. A significant percentage of the Russian people accept the “Kin’s domain” project as a viable national idea. Let it become an international idea as well, and let our countries happily compete in materializing a bright future for all nations. A deep understanding of these concepts, their widespread publication and support by the government of each country, small or large, rich or poor, can stop the coming world-wide depression. An inspired, creative, co-operative international process can begin right now. Thousands of Russian families have already discovered the positive influence of the “Kin’s domain” project in practice. Similar declarations have been signed by more than one and a half thousand Russian families which have already started creating their Kin’s domains, and the count continues. Shall Russia stand alone in recovering its people's healthy power and sanity? We wish great inspiration and happy success for millions of like-minded people in the co-creation of a bright and perfect living environment for families all over the world! I am holding in my hand the new volume of
Anasta, the 10th in the RCoR series, graced with V.N. Megre's autograph and I am thinking with excitement about the great importance and significance of the new information contained in it. I am wondering how I can help spread this information as far and wide as possible and help it get translated into English and other languages because this information is absolutely needed for all Kin’s domains creators. Thanks to this book Irina and I have realized the importance and significance of the Word uttered aloud and the act of a Declaration of our intentions, with a capital "D". A Declaration such as this carries meaning and power similar to a sacred oath and immediately reaches the “ears” of God and all higher beings.
