SOL Issue #9 (Fall 2010) Selected articles
Dare to Dream! |
Rick and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police
By
Rick Farren,
One of our dear friends and SOL supporters,
Deborah Lee Davis, shared her beloved brother
Rick's account about a recent experience with us.
After reading it, we could not resist sharing it onward
with you because it's one of those things that
touches the soul and reminds all of us never to give
up on our dreams.
This entire affair began very innocently in early August 2010...

Save Locally, Spend Locally and Invest Locally |
Money Wisdom shared by Thomas H. Greco
Just as we were going to print with
our small free local California SOL prototype, we received one of
Thomas H. Greco's thought-provoking newsletters. We trust Tom's integrity, honesty
and diligence explicitly and wanted for our regional readers to learn more about his work
and so we cheated and actually placed this SOL #9 piece into the local issue before sharing
it here.
Tom, as our readers will remember,
holds degrees in Business Administration,
Chemical Engineering, worked as an aerospace
engineer and held a tenured faculty position
in academia for many years. He is
regarded as one of the leading experts in
monetary theory and history, credit clearing
systems, complementary currencies, and
community economic development. See more about Tom's
impressive achievements and his books below...

Nourishing Sexual Energies |
By Regina B. Jensen, PhD
"Sex lies at the root of life, and we can never learn to reverence life until we know how to
understand sex." ~ Henry Ellis
Sex seems to be developing
into a more and more conflicted
and heavily laden word and deed.
Or am I just imagining that? I am

concern, ever "eager consumers" of frequent sexual
activities, is supposedly not normal....read more >>

Jose Trigueirinho Netto and Planetary Evolution |
|
"As
human beings grow in consciousness, their understanding of the law
of karma also grows. They no longer see it as a mere instrument to
compensate for past errors, but recognize it as an infallible means
to fulfill the higher goal of life. They begin to notice that the
law of karma is present on various levels of existence and that it
functions in different ways. And so they begin to cooperate with it
intelligently. They are no longer performers of their destiny, but
effective assistants of evolution, true co-creators." JTN
Did some of you wonder
where that intriguing
quote on our SOL #8
back-cover came from? It was a statement
by universal philosopher Jose Trigueirinho Netto about the "ark of
long ago" being, nowadays, both a
vessel for states of consciousness
while yet representing for other people
literal forms. We wanted to honor
the teachings he delivers more thoroughly
in writing here rather than
giving distracting author information
on a back cover. After all, what do
you say in a few words about "a being
who has written 77 books to seed
new life for all humanity"?... read more >>
